Metaphors, part two

Your loveless bones against mine, hollow but for marrow.

If I break you down to just the parts;

Bleeding heart,
Calloused palms,
Grinning skull;

Anatomical slivers of

Shuddering membranes,
Bursting vessels,
Rigid veins

Between my caving ribs,

Do I feel you less?
